Giordano Bruno Guerri

Historian, writer and journalist Giordano Bruno Guerri (b. Monticiano, 1950) started his long publishing journey in the 1970s, with studies on the 20 years of fascism, biographies and monographs (on Goretti, Malaparte, Marinetti and Van Gogh) and directing magazines and newspapers. Chairman since 2008 of the Vittoriale degli Italiani, Gabriele D‘Annunzio’s last residence in Gardone Riviera, Guerri has published bibliographical works about the poet, such as D’Annunzio. L’amante guerriero (Mondadori, 2008), La mia vita carnale (Mondadori, 2013), Disobbedisco (Mondadori, 2019) and D’Annunzio. La vita come opera d’arte (Rizzoli, 2023). “World History” was published in 2023 by La nave di Teseo. His latest is Benito. Storia di un italiano (Rizzoli, 2024). Latest work translated to German: Zwei arme Schweine auf dem Weg zum Himmel ( Ahriman, 1999).
