It is never too late to pen words of love, nor too early to infuse them with humanity. In a century shaken by turbulence that appears to overshadow its romantic dimensions while magnifying irrational and inhumane violence, a poetic dialogue takes shape. This exchange features the esteemed Italian poetess Vivian Lamarque, who, as her latest book’s title reveals, persistently seeks and celebrates L’amore da vecchia (love later in life), and the German philosopher, poet and musician Asmus Trautsch, renowned for his research on the Anthropocene Epoch and his exploration of the human condition in the context of contemporary planetary crises.
