Dear friends,

I know the importance, significance and prestige of the book fair.

This event is a date of global value for the entire book supply chain. I am honoured that Italy will be the Guest of Honour in 2024, taking over the baton from Slovenia.

We are preparing our participation with great care. It will be multifaceted and aimed at representing the Italian culture in all its forms. After the Paris Book Fair, where Italy received much praise, participating in the Frankfurt Book Fair is another opportunity to present our publishers and authors at what experts say is one of the most important international events in the industry.

Reading is fundamental, it enriches people and their minds. Many thanks to the organisers of the book fair for choosing Italy, which was again named Guest Country of Honour after 36 years.

We will not disappoint your expectations.
