Sacha Naspini
Roccatederighi is a tiny medieval village, set on a hill in the Tuscan Alta Maremma. With its fascinating name and appearance, it is one of the places in which Sacha Naspini has set some of his most popular novels, like Le Case del malcontento (Edizioni e/o, 2018) and Villa del seminario (Edizioni e/o, 2023). But it is not his only literary horizon. Naspini (born in Grosseto, 1976), is an eclectic and prolific author whose works, ranging from mystery to historical fiction, graphic novels, film and television, to online series and musical monographs, have been translated in more than 25 countries. A speleologist of language, he collects his stories in the darkest recesses of our past and souls. His latest book is Bocca di strega (Edizioni e/o, 2024). Latest work translated to German: Hinter verschlossenen Türen, (Kein & Aber, 2024).
