Marco Missiroli
Marco Missiroli (b. 1981) lives in Milan, but says that sooner or later he will return to his native Rimini, which he adores because “as you leave the province, the attraction and affection for it grows.” His works have been translated in Europe and the United States. His most recent novel, Avere tutto (Einaudi, 2022) is set in Rimini, his birthplace, and represents the epitome of his exceptional skill at unravelling the complexity of human relationships, inaugurated by Senza coda (Fanucci, 2005, Campiello First Novel Prize) and matured in the light of his intervening works (including the bestselling Atti osceni in luogo privato Feltrinelli, 2015) and completed with Devotion (W&N, 2022, Strega Giovani Prize and Strega Prize finalist), from which the Netflix series of the same name was adapted. Latest work translated to German: Alles haben, (Wagenbach, 2023).
