Luciano Mecacci
Professor Luciano Mecacci graduated in Philosophy from La Sapienza University in Rome (and taught there from 1977 to 1995), and is a researcher at the CNR Institute of Psychology. In institutes in Moscow, Pisa and Paris, he perfected his chosen fields of psychology. He taught at Florence University from 1995 to 2009, also as Vice Chancellor. A member of the European Academy, his work is translated into several languages, including Besprizornye. Bambini randagi nella Russia sovietica (1917-1935), published by Adelphi in 2019 (Russian translation by Limbakh, 2023). His latest book is Lo psicologo nel palazzo (Palingenia, 2024). Latest work translated to German: Der Fall Marilyn Monroe und andere Desaster der Psychoanalyse (btb, 2004).
