Davide Calì

Davide Calì‘s career as an illustrator and writer began in 1994, in one of the temples of Italian graphic novels, the editorial office of "linus" magazine. He has enriched his experience over the years with new challenges, milestones and achievements, e.g. drawing accompanied by literature, reading promotion, entertainment, and as a board game designer. The 2021 Kimi Siegel Award-winning Il venditore di Felicità (Kite Edizioni, 2018), published in Germany by Carl Suer Kids (Der Glücksverkäufer, 2019), has been translated and published in more than 30 countries. The same publisher acquired Undicesimo comandamento and Abbiamo un problema! (both Kite, 2022) for the German-speaking market. Latest work translated to German: Rhododendron (Carl Auer Kids, 2024).
