Andrea Bajani

Andrea Bajani, Strega Prize and Campiello Prize finalist with il libro delle case, Viareggio Prize finalist with the poetry of Dimora naturale, and winner of the Bagutta Prize with Ogni promessa, is one of the most frequent award-winners and most beloved Italian authors in Italy and abroad. The novelist, poet and reporter’s books have been published in over 20 countries by the most prestigious international publishers, from Feltrinelli to Gallimard, to Anagrama Archipelago Books. He arrived in Germany in 2010 with Cordiali saluti (Einaudi, 2005) thanks to the dtv publishing house, which will continue to publish many of his works. He currently lives in Houston, Texas, where he teaches creative writing at Rice University. Latest work translated to German: Buch der Wohnungen (Kampa, 2022).
