Important representatives of the publishing industry met on 23-25 February at “Testo”, the book and publishing fair in Florence dedicated to readers, writers, and industry professionals.
On the road to “Destination Frankfurt”, on Friday 23 February, Italy Guest of Honour took part in the debate about the importance of book and reading promotion.
During the panel, Commissioner Mauro Mazza emphasised the importance of our mission - creating a dialogue with no censorship – and presented the “Roots in the future” illustration by Lorenzo Mattotti, where a young woman is reading a book, sitting on a lily, while thinking about the future and ready to build a better world.
