    In our journey with destination Frankfurt, we stopped in Tunis, where Italy was Guest of Honour at the most important Book Fair of the country.

    "The culture that unites these two shores of the Mediterranean, as it has been in ancient times and over the centuries. This is the message of Italy’s presence as Guest of Honour at the Tunis International Book Fair, sending out a positive signal of cultural activity that contrasts with bad things. I’m glad that the girl on the lily on the poster for the Frankfurt Book Fair 2024, designed by Illustrator Lorenzo Mattotti, crossed the borders of the Old Continent and also arrived in Tunisia."

    These are the words of Mauro Mazza, Extraordinary Commissioner of the Government for the coordination of activities related to Italy’s participation as a Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair, in a video published on his social media channels on the sidelines of his visit to Tunisia for the 38th edition of the country’s most important literary event.
